Nigel Richardson the Wolverhampton born travel writer, novelist, and journalist has been writing professionally for 20 years, he has written four books including the bestselling travelogue Breakfast in Brighton and the critically acclaimed novel for teenagers, The Wrong Hands. For 13 years he was deputy travel editor of The Daily Telegraph and continues to travel across the world in order to write articles for that newspaper and for other leading British publications. In between, his drama writing for BBC Radio 4 has been brought to life by such actors as Stephen Tompkinson and the Oscar-winning Imelda Staunton.
The website features a clean design split into six sections including a book section covering his published books each with an intro and extract, a journalism section including access to many of Nigel’s articles, this has been developed so Nigel can add articles to the site himself through an administration section and will act as an archive of his work. The journalism utility incorporates an RSS feed – a user can subscribe to be updated when a new journalism article is added to the website. The Radio section utilises audio clips that allow the user to listen to extracts from Nigel’s plays.
