East Thames
The Brief
We have been working with East Thames for over 5 years now and really enjoy providing our web solutions to deliver them websites to promote their charitable work. East Thames is a registered social landlord and social regeneration charity with more than 13,500 homes. They work within the East London and Essex areas building new homes, providing care and support services and offering employment, training and community programmes.
With this project, they wanted us to include content from some of their other websites so within 12 months they would be managing one large website with an array of information. To be able to manage all the content they also requested we make some changes to their Content Management System.
East Thames also wanted the content on the website to be easily accessible to users and for the website in general to be more engaging and modern.
What We Did
The previous website had become dated and was in need of a visual lift. We gave the website a complete redesign for a modern look and feel to bring it back to date. To help make the website more user focused we broke the navigation into relevant easy to understand sections and provided quick links across the template.
We also upgraded their existing Content Management System to make it easier to use and to help them add content with speed and ease.
To ensure the pages load quickly we have optimised the HTML coding so the website continues to serve the need of its users and we have tested the website so it works on multiple platforms including mobile phones.
The Result
East Thames are really happy with their redesigned website which has a fresh new look and is much more user friendly. This website has been built so it is easier to maintain and is much more scalable going forward.
The client is so happy with their new website they are already lining up new projects for us to work on!
