Red Chat

The Brief

Red Chat are a high-end lifestyle salon and spa with three branches based in Chiswick, Richmond and Kingston. They were looking for a stylish site to attract clientele and promote their beliefs in holistic wellbeing.

The website had to reflect their high level of service and demonstrate their approach of only using Aveda Organic sourced products to offer each client a unique approach that empowers and energizes. In the eyes of the clients, the website had to be ‘beautiful’.

What We Did

Red Chat had some striking and beautiful images sourced by Aveda that we used as the focal point of the design.  They wanted the images to provide a sense of their values and treatments they offer rather than using a great deal of content.

We set the images up as a slideshow background using JavaScript tools and included an animated dropdown menu for the navigation to give the site a sense of movement and softness.

The Result

The website captures the true essence of holistic wellbeing and Red Chat is very happy with the result. We continue to work with them on an ongoing basis to update the site.

The Red Chat site promotes their services and treatments to a high standard and the eye-catching slideshow of images speak a million words.

Since the launch of the new site in September 2009, Red Chat has had over 5,000 visitors to the site.
