We commenced by performing an extensive digital audit to determine technical issues and areas for improvement across ELGA LabWater’s website and digital processes. We then implemented various solutions to improve website performance, including increasing page speed, migrating the site to AWS, redesigning and streamlining pages to improve user experience and conversion rate, and improving Salesforce integration. We set up a risk management procedure and regular back-up schedule so that ELGA’s site is protected in case of any problems. We also improved search engine rankings by fixing technical issues and optimising website code for SEO.

ELGA had several separate sites in different languages, and we have begun the process all of these to the main Drupal CMS to reduce cost and maximise efficiency. We improved ongoing translation processes by installing a plugin which a translation agency can access. This means that content translations can be uploaded directly onto the site for approval by the ELGA team before going live, thus avoiding the previous labour-intensive, manual uploading process. We also ensured that organic search traffic was maintained during the language sites migration.

Throughout, we’ve actively supported ELGA’s wider business and marketing efforts by finding and maximising opportunities to increase sales and improve internal efficiency. We’ve maintained clear communication by providing ELGA with a single point of contact who project-managed and oversaw the specialist work and provided regular updates on progress.
