Cavell supports UK nurses, midwives, and healthcare assistants through financial assistance, advice, and wellbeing resources. The charity asked Pedalo to redesign and rebuild its website, creating a more engaging, accessible, and efficient digital presence that better reflects its mission and supports its growing community.

Pedalo carried out a full redesign of Cavell’s website, beginning with UX and UI research to better understand user needs and engagement goals. We then developed a bespoke WordPress theme aligned with Cavell’s refreshed brand identity, creating a warm, welcoming, and easy-to-navigate experience for visitors.
As part of the rebuild, we merged the Cavell Star Awards microsite into the main WordPress platform. This integration reduced hosting and maintenance costs, while simplifying administration by giving Cavell’s team a single CMS for managing all content.
The new site was built with full responsiveness and accessibility in mind, ensuring an optimal experience on mobile, tablet, and desktop. We also implemented GDPR-compliant cookie controls and provide ongoing hosting, weekly security updates, and performance monitoring through our managed WordPress maintenance service.
Alongside technical delivery, we continue to offer strategic consultancy, helping Cavell adapt and evolve its digital presence as the charity’s needs grow.
